Executive Officers

Linden ("Linn") R. Evans, age 56, was elected to the Board of Directors on November 1, 2018 and named President and CEO on Jan. 1, 2019. Mr. Evans was President and Chief Operating Officer from January 2016 to January 2019 and served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company's utilities from 2004 to 2015. In 2003 and 2004, he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Company's former telecommunication subsidiary, and as Associate Counsel from 2001 to 2003.

Kimberly Nooney has been Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since April 1, 2023. She served as Vice President – Treasurer from 2015 to 2023, and also served as the Corporate Controller from 2018 to 2022. She has a total of 26 years of experience with Black Hills across numerous roles including internal audit, corporate development, accounting systems, treasury and financial planning and analysis.

Brian G. Iverson has been Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer since 2016. He served as Senior Vice President, Regulatory and Government Affairs from 2014 to 2016, Vice President and Treasurer from 2011 to 2014, Vice President, Electric Regulatory Services from 2008 to 2011 and Corporate Counsel from 2004 to 2008.

Erik Keller has been Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer since July, 2020. Prior to joining the company, Erik served from 2012 to 2020 as Group Chief Information Officer for BBA Aviation, a global aviation support and aftermarket services provider which included the world's largest network of bases for Business and General Aviation (B&GA) travelers. Erik has previously held IT leadership roles with Sirva, Inc., a global leader in relocation services, National City Corporation, KeyCorp, and Ohio Edison, an electric utility.
